Mastering AI in QA workshops

AI is not only changing the way we work; it is changing the way we think, learn, and create. Yet many testing professionals still don’t use it, or use it merely as Google 2.0. We believe AI only becomes truly valuable when you understand how to guide it. When you use it to make better decisions. When you apply it to make your work more meaningful and effective. That’s why at QA Company we have developed a training program to help you get started.

You can read a book about AI, listen to podcasts, or watch videos. But we want you to experience how you can steer AI through:

  • Prompt Engineering → how to ask questions that actually work

  • Context Engineering → how to help AI understand what you really need

  • Practical testing examples → immediately applicable in your daily work

  • Hands-on assignments → learning by doing, not just by listening

We create an environment where you can experiment, make mistakes, discover which questions to ask, and be inspired by what is possible when humans and machines collaborate.

This workshop is designed for testers, QA professionals, and anyone who believes there is always something new to learn. Are you ready to discover what is already possible?

In this two-day training, testers will take their first steps into the world of AI-powered testing. The first day is theoretical; the second day is practical.

Day 1:

  • What is AI? The difference between AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
  • Forms of AI (for example, generative AI).
  • What are large language models? What are the different ways to train them?
  • What does an AI pipeline look like? How do A-to-B mapping algorithms work?
  • Ethics, the Goldilocks Rule, limitations of AI, and risk-based thinking: the do’s and don’ts of AI and common pitfalls.
  • Software development teams pre-AI versus AI-driven development teams: AI in QA versus QA in AI.
  • Introduction to Prompt Engineering.

 

Day 2:

  • Workshop: gaining hands-on experience with AI-powered testing.
  • Practicing with test data generation, self-healing scripts, and natural language processing.

The training program “Mastering AI-Powered Testing” gives experienced testing and QA professionals employed by QA Company the opportunity to truly deepen their understanding of the possibilities that AI offers. Participants learn to apply AI conceptually, enabling them to help clients take the next step in professionalization from a QA perspective.

This goes beyond applying prompt engineering, creating self-healing test automation scripts, and generating synthetic test data. Participants also learn what is expected of a test engineer within an AI development team, including providing feedback to data scientists and data and machine learning engineers.

We know better than anyone that test automation is, in essence, software development. We also know that the average tester is skilled at testing software, but not necessarily at developing it. Our mission is to make test automation truly a whole-team approach, so that every team member can set up and extend test automation.

We see a shift among clients from code-based test automation to low-code and no-code test automation. This shift is supported by a new generation of test automation tools that incorporate Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. We have the in-house expertise to help our clients make the move to Low-Code and No-Code.
