You move effortlessly between business and deep tech, and feel at home in an environment with AI engineers, SDETs, and platform engineers. Within traditional QA circles, you are seen as “the nerd”—and you’re proud of it.

What will you do / Your mission

  • Lead and coach QA and testing teams, with a focus on technical depth and AI adoption
  • Design and implement next-generation QA strategies (AI-driven, risk-based, continuous)
  • Guide clients in transforming legacy test automation stacks into agentic test architectures
  • Introduce AI agents for test generation, maintenance, analysis, and self-healing
  • Set up scalable testing platforms within CI/CD (DevOps / Platform Engineering context)
  • Improve test automation using modern tools, frameworks, and AI integrations
  • Collaborate with developers, AI engineers, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Analyze test data using AI and translate insights into concrete quality improvements
  • Initiate structural improvements in the software development process toward autonomous quality systems

What do you bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in Test Management or QA in complex, multidisciplinary environments
  • Proven experience in modernizing test automation (e.g., moving from Selenium-heavy stacks to modern frameworks)
  • Experience with or strong interest in:
    • AI/LLM applications within testing
    • Test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations
    • Observability, data-driven testing, and self-healing tests
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and/or SAFe
  • Ability to make teams AI-ready (both technically and in mindset)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to engage in in-depth discussions with engineers about architecture, tooling, and code
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
