Our journey

Together with the entire team of QA Company, we attended the 15th edition of Test Automation Days in Hilversum — a day full of insights about the future of test automation.
The program offered inspiring keynotes, in-depth sessions, and above all many great conversations with fellow professionals from the testing community.
One question from the keynotes in particular stood out — something many teams recognize:
How can you, as a QA professional, truly make an impact when productivity and delivery speed are often the top priorities?
Ensuring quality in a world where software is developed faster and faster requires clear principles:
- Fast feedback within the development pipeline
- Testing the right things instead of testing everything
- Actively steering quality throughout the SDLC
A special highlight was the session by our colleague Jakob Jan Kamminga, who delivered a strong and well-received presentation. It was great to see how his contribution sparked discussion and interaction in the room. 👏
Afterwards, we wrapped up the day together at Mout Brewery. A great opportunity to catch up with colleagues, partners, and friends of QA Company.
All in all, we look back on an inspiring edition of Test Automation Days. Next year we will once again choose an event to attend with the entire team. A tradition we are happy to continue.

Jelle, John and Ruben dived into developments in the Robot Framework community at Robocon. One thing is clear: our profession is in full motion.

We rang in 2026 together with a well-catered Walking Dinner at restaurant Dengh in Utrecht. Guided by our quizmaster Dirk, fierce competition ensued during the QA Company Pub Quiz.
On this evening it was revealed where QA Company employees and their partners will enjoy culture, good food and sunshine in June: beautiful Tunisia!

In front of a sold-out audience, Nicole presented Evaluaite, the new standard for smarter evaluation of systems with probabilistic behavior.
Risks are translated into pillars for model quality and system quality. Each pillar functions as a quality lens. Metrics make risks measurable, and thresholds make risks manageable.
Not only is QA Company methodically strong — we also demonstrated our “ability to execute” with examples of how automated testing works with metrics and thresholds.
And with a great presentation from Sander Ulrich of our partner Teammaite, the audience also saw an example of testing more efficiently with AI.

At the beautifully located boutique hotel Bed & Bos, we were treated to an inspiring talk by Jelle about QA Company’s developments and a vision for where the company is heading. Afterwards, one of our Playwright experts led a workshop on Agentic Test Automation. Teams also enjoyed eating, drinking, talking and laughing together.

John, Jelle, Ruben, and Remco represented QA Company at the AutomationSTAR Conference 2025 in Amsterdam. With participants from 47 countries, the conference was a vibrant meeting place for QA and testing professionals.
QA Company sponsored the Robot Framework Foundation booth, which attracted a lot of interest.
It was a day full of great connections and engaging conversations. The highlight was the Robot Framework meet-up: we got a demo of their new MCP server and gained plenty of inspiration for the further development of test automation.

QA Company, represented by four colleagues, attended Tricentis Transform 2025 in London, where the future of testing, AI and enterprise tooling was central.
We believe Tricentis clearly distinguishes itself as a leader in paid testing solutions. With a strong focus on cloud-based products — each equipped with its own MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI Agents — they are setting a new standard in quality engineering.
It was a very valuable Tricentis Transform 2025. QA Company will act on the ideas gained.

Again at a beautiful venue on the Veluwe, the Robot Framework chapter and the AI chapter were officially kicked off, with chapter leads presenting their plans. There was also a beer tasting featuring beers from Friesland, and plenty of good food, drinks and conversations.

QA Company sailed along with colleagues and their partners on their own boat during Sail 2025.

At QA Company we work hard, but we also celebrate life equally hard — for example with a summer party where colleagues, partners and children come together for a day full of fun. While the children enjoy the bouncy castle, the pool and various games, we enjoy a delicious barbecue, relaxed atmosphere, and great conversations.
This is how we get to know each other outside of work — because it’s not just about what we do, but also about who we do it with.

At a beautiful location on the Veluwe, colleagues give presentations about a successful testing project at Engie and the current state of AI in testing. Plans are also made for even more active knowledge sharing within QA Company. Afterwards the barbecue is fired up and we toast to colleagues celebrating their first QA Company anniversary, as well as to our new colleagues!

This time we gathered in the beautiful surroundings of Beek-Ubbergen. In addition to enjoying food, drinks, conversations and honoring anniversaries, there was also serious table tennis.

QA Company was present on the second day of Test Automation Days 2025 in Rotterdam. A day full of insights and valuable conversations with peers from the Netherlands and abroad.
Afterwards, we invited everyone to join us for an informal get-together to reflect and exchange ideas. A great combination of knowledge sharing and connection.

John and Jelle visit Robocon 2025. They are inspired by the technology and the lively community. QA Company has a Robot Framework chapter, and is a proud member of the Robot Framework Foundation.

To ring in the new year, we came together for a well-organized winter barbecue. After a fantastic first year for QA Company, the first anniversaries were also celebrated.
At the end of the very successful evening, everyone went home with a QA Company kamado BBQ to keep the barbecue vibe at home.

We look back with pride on what we’ve achieved in a short time. Everyone receives lovely gifts, we update each other on results at our clients, and we get examples of AI applications that help solve some technical obstacles. After a delicious starter of lobster, we enjoy the truffle risotto by chef Ad and the wines from sommelier Jelle.

At the Tax Authority Autumn Event (Vakgroep Testen), QA Company hosted a sold-out inspirational session “AI-Powered Testing with Virtuoso”. All participants work at the Tax Authority on test automation. This session is their first introduction to AI-Powered Testing. The session is very successful and all participants get acquainted with AI in testing.

We welcome Jurgen van Erp to the QA Company board. Jurgen invites us all on a beautiful boat trip on the Loosdrechtse Plassen. We enjoy the water, the breeze and each other.

A delegation from QA Company visits Test Automation Days and also sees increasing interest in applying AI in testing here. A super fun and educational day!

Virtuoso sees our proposition as very valuable for the growing market for AI-Powered Testing and decides to enter a partnership with our young company. Today we celebrate our partnership with a Meeting of Minds about AI in QA. Bart Reits and Jelle Schutte explore the limits of AI in QA and Virtuoso demonstrates the possibilities of test data generation and self-healing test scripts. An eye opener for many participants who gladly thank us for it.

The “learning launch” period is over. The proposition has been successfully tested with potential employees, clients and technology partners. Today we officially launch QA Company. Not because we must, but because we can — we choose 29 February as the launch date. It immediately gives us the chance to ask ourselves: what do we want to be proud of on our first anniversary in four years?
