As a Test Specialist at QA Company, you play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality of our clients' software products.

Your mission
- Drawing up test plans and test strategies based on requirements, risks and project context.
- Designing and executing functional tests: happy flow, edge cases, negative scenarios and regression.
- Performing non-functional tests such as performance testing, security testing and usability evaluations.
- Recording and reporting findings with clear reproduction steps, prioritisation and risk assessment for the team.
- Working as a full team member in Agile and DevOps environments, from sprint planning to retrospective.
- Contributing to the team's quality culture: raising colleagues' awareness of testability and quality risks.
- Using common test tools such as Playwright, JMeter and Postman for automated and non-functional tests where this adds value.
- Working with a wide range of clients across various sectors throughout the Netherlands, from government and energy to finance and retail.

What you bring
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in software testing in professional environments.
- Strong analytical skills: you recognise patterns in behaviour, spot risks and draw the right conclusions from test results.
- Experience with both functional and non-functional testing, including drawing up test plans and test cases.
- Excellent communication skills: you know how to clearly articulate findings for both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable in Agile and DevOps teams, where your testing work fits seamlessly with sprint rhythm and delivery pressure.
- A genuine quality mindset: you feel co-responsible for the end product, not just for your own test results.
- Practical experience with test tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JMeter or Postman.
- Basic knowledge of or interest in test automation: you don't need to be an expert, but you're not intimidated by it.
- Curiosity about the role of AI in the testing profession, and willingness to develop yourself in this area through our learning programme.
- Experience across multiple sectors or project types: from government systems to commercial applications.
